Surgery 7/10
Hi all!
I'm new here so looking for any advice you wanna share.
I'm having the sleeve done 2 weeks from tomorrow on July 10th. My pre-op diet starts Weds.
I'm also a single adoptive mom to Mia, my 20 mth old daughter from China. Since I adopted her on my own there's no other parent to lean on. I'm most worried about caring for her after surgery...with the lifting restrictions especially. I have help lined up for the first 2 weeks and after that we'll re-evaluate and see how I feel.
I'm excited...but a little nervous. I can't wait to feel good again!

Hello I'm pretty new too and we have the same surgery date. I start my liquid diet tomorrow. I have a 13 month old and 33 month old. The thing I'm most nervous about is getting through the liquid diet hunger. Just take it easy and listen to your body with lifting the baby.
