Rocking the Stage at Goal Weight: PICS!
Hey Everyone! Mr. Waffle is back with an update...I'm sure you were all on pins and needles.
In any case, I just wanted to share some more adventures in maintenance with my sleeve. The sleeve has opened up so much for me and I'm living my life to the fullest like I never was able to before. Case in point; the comedy rock superstars HOT WAFFLES returned from an almost two year hiatus to rock the stage once more. We hadn't played a show since my surgery and the results were pretty awesome. First, witness the stage presence before:
and here's us with special microphone stand Kevin Smith
We actually played a lot of shows where I was a lot heavier than this but I didn't have time to go all the way back in the Waffle Archives. Well, fast forward to last week and it's a whole new look!
I had to cinch up my guitar strap a lot! Also, we performed with a guy that we hadn't seen in a long time and he could not believe it Chris Waffle standing before his eyes. The main thing for me was that I was SO much more full of energy on stage and able to move and perform so much better. I never got out of breath or tired. I LOVE MY SLEEVE!
So that's about it for now...I'm off to party hard cuz that's what you do at goal. Hahaha.
PS: I'm running my first 5k next week. Wish me luck!
PPS: I'm doing a solo show at DiPiazza's in Long Beach on July 11th. See you there!
