Oh, and pack light, and be sure to not pack anything that sits tightly on your tummy. You're gonna be swollen! Yoga pants/pajama bottoms are your friend next week

Thank you all very much. I am only taking a carry on. My "blankie" takes up most of the space. I probably could have gotten by with just a backpack. But I wanted my own blanket and pillow.
Keep my spot on the loser's bench warm. I am almost there!!!

Take Gas X strips - I didn't use them but I heard of alot of people who did. Some people also took a heating pad for their tummies. I didn't take one with but I sure used it when I got home and it is wonderful.

For some reason the electric heating pad on my tummy relieved any gas pains and just seemed to relax my sore muscles.
