Getting Sleeved July 10th

Hi all. I'm getting sleeved the day after tomorrow. I'm really excited to start this new life and to feel good again. But I'm also getting anxious.

I'm still a little shocked that I'm willingly going under the knife. You see, back in 2004 I had a minor, outpatient, laproscopic gall bladder removal. That turned into a bile leak. That turned into sepsis. Which led to being near death on a vent in ICU for 12 days, hospitalized for a month, and a very very long and difficult recovery.

See why I'm a little anxious? LOL! Surely no one can have bad enough karma for that to happen twice in one lifetime, right? Right? (insert nervous laugh)

So would you think good thoughts for me on Tuesday? Send me some positive vibes? Say some prayers, beat a drum, chant, sacrifice a goat, whatever it is you do.... but just please please please hope that this surgery goes smoothly!!

You will be in my thoughts and prayers for a good outcome. I had my sleeve a week ago and was very nervous, but everything turned out great. I wish the same for you.

I'll save the goat . My lawn will need mowing when I'm recovering in 2weeks! Lol
