Hello everyone...I am new to the VSG forum....I am hoping to have VSG surgery sometime in Nov/Dec if all goes well.....I am still on the 6 month supervised diet and have 3 months to go. Any tips on how to kill time wiseley before I begin this new journey?

Thanks in advance.

Hi there!  I was sleeved on 6/27 and the best advice I can think of is to get in the habit of walking and exercising now.  It will make such a big difference when you get home.  Whatever kind of walking you can do now that fits with your present abilities will help because it will start a good habit for post-op when you need to get up and around.

The other thing is to log your food choices now, because it helps you realize what you're actually eating.  I'm a grazer, so this really helped me stop that habit.

Good Luck!

Hi there! I'm new to this too but just wanted to say hi! Seems like time slows right down when you're waiting!
