Pinkone, you had Dr. Eibes, huh? I am being sleeved by Dr. LaMasters on Sept 26th. How was the staff in the hospital??? Any other advice?
Yay, congrats! I think you'll do fine. I have never been seen by Dr. LeMasters, as she was new to his practice back in 2007 when I got a LapBand. I've always seen Eibes and Joel, his PA. I've seen her present at the group meetings though, and she seems nice.
As to the hospital staff...they are all awesome. I think everyone from techs to RNs did great. Even the floor hostesses were great..getting me anything I needed or wanted, from drinks (once I could have clears) to cool washcloths to heating pads for my shoulder. One overnight nursing assistant has had the surgery herself, and she was really a cheerleader for me. Wish I could have brought them all home!
