United Airlines
United is usually pretty good. I never had a problem flying them when I was obese. Southwest is the worst - you want to stay far away from them. All of the airlines have extenders.

I never had a problem with any airline, even at 5'1" and 267 (at my heaviest). I have flown United several times in the past couple of years for work, and it's been just fine. I won't say it was entirely comfortable (seriously, would it kill them to make those seats just a smidge wider?!), but they never asked me to pay for another seat, nor did I ever have a problem with neighbors making a stink about any encroachment. :)
You can typically select your seat beforehand, if having a specific location (aisle or something ) would make you more comfortable.

I always fly Continental (which is now United) and have NEVER had an issue and I'm 345lbs. I do usually need a seat belt extender but have never been required to purchase another seat.

I appreciate the feedback. I watched a TV show on southwestern and they seemed very judgemental and were charging for extra seats. I also didnt know that united used used to be continental. I have flown continental before. Now I feel better. When I fly in canada I always use an extender and it is illegal here to charge for a second seat.
