Getting approved
I'm trying to decide which Dr to go to. I'm in Columbus Ohio, there is 3 choices. I was wondering if anyone was sleeved in Columbus, who did you go to? And also I was wondering why there seems to be such a difference in getting approved. I have been reading posts on here for about a week. Some places it seems like it's a piece of cake to get approved, and other places it's like pulling teeth? Some places have a person that "will" get you approved? I have medicare with Anthem senior advantage. My BMI is 38, diabetes, RA, OA, fibromyalgia ,knees rubbing bone on bone, Any advice?
Lots of insurances ans surgery centers have different requirements.
Also two people can go to the same center with the same insurance,
and thier empoyers which provide the insurance can have their own requirements.
That is what happended to my DD. The insurance rquired a 3 month
pre-diet, BUT her employer required a six month. They also required
a 50bmi for her surgery even though the insurace only required 40
for it.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
