4 months postop
Well, four months down, the rest of my life to go. I'm so glad I made the decision to have the surgery. I'm still dehydrated, bladder infection that won't go away, and the passing of kidney stones, but I would do it again in a heart beat!
Last night I tried on a pair of pants that I bought years ago....they didn't fit then, but I was too embarrassed to take them back. I got ALOT bigger since then, and had to turn to ordering my clothes online (onestopplus). Well, before taking a bath last night, I decided to give it a shot and see how much more I need to lose before getting those jeans on. OMG, they fit! I have gone from a size 38/40 to a 24/26. I know I have a ways to go, but damn I'm happy with my progress so far.
