First time I have been shopping since surgery!!

So I got a great coupon from Fred Meyer and thought I should get some new clothes.  Especially since yesterday morning everything I put on my husband laughed at and said no, it is too big.  So I let him know he was taking me shopping.  First weird thing is walking past the plus size area and not looking at clothes, my kids started pulling clothes and I laughed and said lets try the normal section.  OMG, I have been in a 16 lately and so I grabbed some and a couple XL shirts.  When I left, I had 2 pair of size 14 jeans, 3 size large shirts and 1 xl shirt because it fit the way larges did.  Then today went to another store and got 5 more large shirts.  And my hubby thru in a new pair of running shoes!!!!  I am blown away that I could fit in a size I haven't worn in years.  Love my sleeve, best thing I ever did (next to marrying the best hubby)!!!

It's an awesome feeling!  My advice is don't spend a lot of money, and don't buy too much.  Soon those clothes will be in the discard pile!!  I've gone from a size 26 to a size 8, and I've spent far too much on clothes that still have the tags on them.  Still a GREAT feeling!

that is so awesome!  cONGRATULATIONS!  I hope to be as lucky as you one day.  I was recently sleeved 10/17 and I'm only down 14 pounds.  I'm hoping it picks up!  I did have a set back by falling down our basement stairs so I slowed down on doing things. 

Congrats! I would suggest to start hitting some thrift store also. Once I fit into 16's my clothes only last about a 1 - 1.5 months. I never thought about thrift store shopping pre surgery but now that is almost the only place I shop!
