I was sleeved 10-29.I'm doing very well getting my protein and liquids in .but , I haven't  lost one pound. I weigh the same as I did the day if surgery. Shouldn't I have at least lost a little?

Common.  Many, many people come back from the hospital weighing more than when they went in, and it takes days or weeks to get back to the starting point.  Don't fret about it and try to stay off the scale for a few weeks!

Probably, but I wouldn't worry.  Your body is still healing, and you may be on meds and have fluids from the surgery going through you.  Also if you had a strict pre-op diet and lost weight, your body can be adjusting from that loss as well.  Just hang in there, and try not to weigh yourself too often.

Actually, I did lose 55 pounds pre-op. I have only weighed myself twice since surgery.Just seemed unusual. I knew the vets would know. Thanks!

That's probably why, that is a lot of weight to lose pre-op. Your body is in shock from the surgery and is in total lock down mode. You will start losing again. I didn't start weighing myself until I was 3 weeks post-op.

How many calories are you getting in? How much did you lose pre-op? If you're keeping your calories where they should be the weight WILL come off - it has no choice.

I have a girlfriend that had her VSG a month ago and hasn't lost a single pound. When I asked about her food journal she got defensive and said, "You can see it next week. I haven't been perfect..." Turns out "not perfect" includes daily brownies and not measuring anything, expecting her sleeve to do the work.

I should have caught on when she said,"I'm amazed at how much I can eat."

Your new best friends are a digital kitchen scale and a set of measuring cups.

I lost 55 pounds pre-op.I'm doing 3 shakes a day or if I don't feel like a shake protein power mixed in SF pudding, low carb yougurt or SF applesauce, which is what NUT told me to do. Im getting in 70-90 grams protein a day and an additional 6-8 cups water.

Sounds to me like you're doing just fine. Put your scale away somewhere for 2 weeks, do exactly what your plan says, THEN weigh ourself, k? Oh, and if you haven't done it yet - measure yourself.

My numbers discourage me sometimes, too. Then I remind myself that I'm down 5" from my bust, 3" from my waist and 6.5" from my hips. When I look at someone I see size, not pounds.
