Hello all.  I have been hanging for a year, but surgery is finally scheduled for Tuesday after Turkey Day.  Yay!  I would love to hear suggestions for what to have at home, and how long it took you guys to get comfortable.  I know, common question.  Help me out?  Thanks!  Also, looking for great support group in Houston, open to suggestions.

Thanks!

First of all, congrats on your big sleeve day coming up!!!

Are you wanting to know what kinds of foods to have at home?  I'm sure you will be in liquids for a while so plenty of water & RTD Premier protein shakes would be great.  At 30 grams of protein per 11oz. serving, a couple of these a day early out would be awesome.  I felt pretty comfortable getting around at day 3 even though I was up and walking on the same day as surgery.

I don't live in Houston but if you are ever in SoCal, we have a great support system here.  Best of luck to you & keep us posted!!!

Thanks!

I am looking for general comfort tips, brand recommendations etc.  You hit the nail, thanks so much.

BTW, can anyone explain why berries with seeds are a NO food?

Thanks again...

Seeds can get caught in your staple line, while it is healing.
