Is this a sign?

First my brother got into a near fatal motorcycle accident and I pushed my surgery date back because of that. Now I am 25 days away from surgery and yesterday I fell at work and spranged my ankle really bad. I don't know what the heck? Are these signs saying I shouldn't have the surgery? : /

My first date was reset because they discovered an ulcer and the H. Pylorri bacteria. So I had to reschedule. The second date was reset because of a mix up with the hospital where we were going to do the sleeve. I also thought signs everywhere. But no.. I don't think these are signs. I think that you are having pre op jitters and are interpreting things that happen in life as signs associated with the surgery - they would have happened anyway probably...
The only sign that you should be focusing on is getting healthy and the surgery is a major step towards that. don't short change yourself by signs or jitters. You will do great and you will not regret this.. Cheering you on!!!!

They are signs only if you want them to be. I had my mind made up nothing was gonna stop me.

I'm having the same problem right now.  I was involved in a freak accident 2 weeks ago.  and the pain in my head, neck and lower back get worse daily.  They cat-scanned my head and no bleed but the neck it what scares me the most.  WLS is scheduled for Wed 28th, just a few days away.  Should I postpone to go get my neck checked out with mri or have the surgery and hope for the best. 

I can't believe that I have come this far to let anything stop me.

Discuss with your surgeon. He could possibly fast track some tests.

Yes - they are signs that you have a busy life.  They are signs that you will live a more active life post-op.  Don't try to read too much into things.  Stuff happens everyday - we only try to read things into them when we have a big event coming up!  Your ankle sprain probably won't impact your surgery date.  You are going to do great!

Yes, this!  (I personally don't believe that, if there's an omnipotent and omnipresent being out there, s/he'd be a fickle jerk who messes with people just for the sake of making them miserable.)

IMO, that is the devil trying to interferer with you doing something good for yourself! He will always try to stop us when we are doing things to help ourselves!!
