VSG in Mexico

I have been thinking of going to Mexico for the VSG.  I have no health insurance and would need to pay out of pocket.  Where do recommend I check into going?

Check out Alberto Aceves in Mexicali.  I was just sleeved with him 11-23.  I had a wonderful experience and  every patient I met  there had the same positive things to say.

I am lost.............this is the Dr that I was most considering.  I even bought his book.

Dr. Arial Ortiz @ the Obesity Control Center... they have a website and they are a center of excellence.

I had my surgery 6 mo. ago and had a great experience! My friend had revision from lap band to sleeve 6 mo. before me and her experience was so positive she went back w/ me for my VSG and a follow up appt.

 

I didn't have enough money for Alvarez so I want with Dr Ponce de Leon in Tijuana,  it was about 3 thousand less and I had a great experience!    Of course I can't really compare since I havent seen both doctors but I was happy with my choice :)

 

I used Dr. Verboonen, his link is in my signature below. I had great experience. I went to Cancun and stayed at the Hospiten Hospital. Fantastic care, very little pain. Highly recommend it.

I went on YouTube and saw that there were posting on Dr. Alvarez and he seemed very down to earth, super friendly and super  knowledgeable about all the bariatric procedures. 

He has numerous videos that you can watch and it will answer most if not all of your questions and concerns.

I myself will have surgery tomorrow but it is here in the states with a bariatric surgeon at a local hospital.
