Pre Op Liquid Diet Starts Monday

Feeling pretty nervous. My surgery day is already coming so quick. Monday is the first day of my liquid diet. (2 weeks). Feeling nervous about that too a little. Gotta be strong. I got this !

My 10 day liquid diet starts Monday as well! Very nervous but after finding this forum/website I have a little more peace in knowing others are going through the same thing and we can support each other through the process. :)

You and I seem to have a lot in common : ) I just added you as a friend. Let's keep in touch . I love this website. Thank goodness for all these wonderful people on here that take the time to share.

Well the good news is, once you have the surgery, the liquids don't bother you for a while!  :D

I started my 2 week pre op on Thursday, so far it's been going good. My surgeon uses the OptiFast plan, I am doing 3 shakes and 2 bars per day. I nuke the chocolate bar for 30 sec and it's like a brownie.(tip from here)I am also aloud 1/2 cup cucumbers and 1 cup of sf jello, if I want.
You can do it, just focus on your goal!!!!! A healthier you!!!!!!

wow, and here i am whining about 10 days. You can do it girl!! Good luck and please keep me posted. I havent started my 10day yet, because i havent recieved me date yet.

My surgery date is quickly approaching. Time is flying. I begin my pre-op diet Wednesday. The funny thing is I'm ready for that and for the most part I'm ready for the surgery. I find myself more nervous about life after the sleeve. I feel like I wont remember what I should eat..what I shouldn't eat. I'm sure I will get it together.
