Does anyone know if the XR in these meds work after our VSG? I take Ambian XR and keep waking after 5 hours of sleep at night. Is there a chance the XR is not working since the VSG?

My Dr told me no more extended release because its passed the pt of no return by the time the second half releases and its rather ineffective.
I am having the same problem with Ambian CR. It will put me out and I wake up after 4-6 hours. I need more rest.
