Have any of you ever eaten anything and during or right after felt like a carbonation feeling was forming in your stomach/chest? I feel like I'm a bottle of soda being shaken. I'm not eating or drinking anything that is fizzy.. Has anyone else felt like this? I'd really appreciate your thoughts and advice! Thanks all!! Happy New Year!

I think that might be what they call the "foamies"...maybe do a search of that word in the search engine..should be lots of posts to do with that!

Yes! I can actually hear the bubbles in my upper chest if I'm laying down and it's quiet--like I'm a carbonated beverage :) and I don't eat anything fizzy either. I think our bodies are still adjusting to this mega change and gas, in any form, is extremely common. As long as its not painful, I think you're fine!

How far out are you? I'm almost 5 months. Thanks though. It sometimes hurts and other times it doesn't. I'm not worried, I just want to know if its normal, because nothing about my experience has been normal.. lol

Are you eating a little much, or a little too quickly. I do get that if I rush through a meal.

I am only 4 weeks out of surgery if its painful, check in with your doc--that's what they are there for! Hope it's nothing (and feel confident that it's not!) Hang in there!
