My surgery was Oct 23 and including my 1 week pre op I have lost 52 lbs! I was feeling like a failure as I wasn't seeing huge losses every week but it just hit me this week that I really am doing ok. I read this forum daily and it really helps.

I was the 24th, so we are only a day apart. I too kinda thought I wasn't doing so well at first.. but I've lost 9 pounds in the last week so really.. I'd doing just fine with.. We're doing great!

Good for you! That's great! I think it takes our body a little while to catch up and get used to the "new us" but it sounds like you're doing great! Keep up the updates!
