MEDICARE

OMG.... just called insurance and I have been approved sent in on 1/23/2013 approved on 1/25/2013 my Dr. office kept telling me that I was not covered for the VSG with Medicare that my state had not made up there minds yet as weather to cover the sleeve they do cover 3 other WLS but not the sleeve but I have AARP MelcareComplete from SecureHorizons as my carriers for my Medicare and when I called them they said it was covered Drs office kept saying no..So I called 2 more times and they said yes 2 more times Called back to Dr.office she says well if you give me permission I can send it in but you will be in a big struggle if they denied you... cant wait to talk to her Monday shes out sick today she will be very surprised and happy for me.....LOSERS BENCH HERE I COME....Debi

Congratulations! That is really exciting. I am not on Medicaire, but had my VSG when I was 62 and have been really successful. You will be too!

Congrats and good for you to not just accept what the docs office told you. They do not always know what they think they do!
