5 month photo op
I love picture posts. Before I even asked my GP for the referral, I was here, crying over people's photos: part happiness for them, part longing, part frustration. So, here's a photo update, lovelies. Feel free to make fun of my tights.
For reference: I am 5'10" and 40. Here I am somewhere over 308 pounds, trying to stuff it into a size 26 at David's Bridal (link to my flickr):

And here I am, less than 3 weeks post-surgery (9/28) at about 255 (surgery weight was 275):
Better. Closer. Warmer. In November, I was down to about 242:
Fashion advisor: Nala the Kitty. I am wearing a tiara because this sweater dress was the first thing I'd bought from the non-plus section. Ever. One celebrates these things.
Today, I had to get a suit in preparation for a job interview. I'm at 224 (down about 85 pounds), and fit an Ann Taylor 18 Tall:
My favorite accessory for this season is SMUGNESS.
I'm still have a ways to my goal of 180, but I'm closer than ever. This is the smallest I have been since I was 14.
So, my sisters and brothers in this battle: It works. Even if I don't lose another pound, I'm leagues happier than I was. I can do more physical activity than ever (waggles eyebrows), people are nicer to me, and my confidence is through the roof. I wish you all success!
