So, when was the last time I shopped in the regular section of a clothing store?????
TODAY!!!!! Lots of fun stuff happened to me today- nothing that I haven't done a million times before, but it was different today. #1. I got a hair cut and didn't dread only seeing the fat face in the mirror instead of the cut. The fat face wasn't there! My face was. #2. Ditto the above when I stopped in to pick up my new glasses. #3. I roamed around the department store looking at the wonderful sales in the regular sized section, drooling over the huge discounts, and- got-my courage- up and tried some on. THEY FIT!!! I BOUGHT THEM!! I haven't been clothes shopping for 4 years, and then only to get whatever would fit me (4-5X's) because I had outgrown the 3X's. Over the last year and half, I've been shopping in my closet of old clothes- was so tired of them and now the last remnants can gooooo... I finally have some pretty new clothes to wear. And I feel pretty. How about that for a change.
