Waiting for approval
I am a new member and I am currently going through the approval process. I have one more meeting with the dietician and then I will be done and everything will be sent to my insurance for approval. Does anyone have experience with BCBS Federal and how long it usually takes for approval or disapproval? I am hoping it doesn't take too long and I will be able to get a surgery date in mid April. Any info anyone has on the insurance process would be greatly appreciated.
Thank, I hope it goes fast as well. From what the surgeons office was saying my insurance usually responds with in a week and then I will have 30 days to be in surgery. My last Dietician meeting will be March 12th and then everything will be submitted. Fingers crossed I will be in early to mid April. :)
