Anyone know the average weight loss you should experience a week? I understand its different for everyone...just curious.

Definitely also depends on how far out you are from surgery.  My first month I lost 28 lbs...second month 11...third month 15...I would say im averaging about 2.5-3lbs a week at this point...but a loss is a loss right?  I've had a couple weeks where I lost 1.8...and I'm cool with that...as long as the scale is moving, and in the right direction :)

I lost 7lbs the first week, 22lbs the first month and I average typically 2-2.5lbs a week now. I have been lucky, I am close to 6 months post op and have not had a stall, I take any loss I can get and work my butt off to get it! The scale is still moving in the downward direction and that is ok with me!

At my 3 month post op appointment my surgeon wanted to yell at me because she said I was losing faster then her bypass patients...but then she said after reviewing my food log, protein log, exercise log and labs...there wasn't anything she could find to yell about. =)

I lost about 1 to 1.5 lbs per week. They all add up and eventually you will get to goal.
