A little setback but huge victories as well.

So this weekend we went camping. In a tent none the less. Was able to do way more than I would have before this surgery. I did however hurt my hip. Again. Excruciating pain when I go to sit down or when I go to stand up. So that is making me pretty immobile. So that is frustrating. I did however weigh in this morning at 279. Down a total of 47 lbs! This is a huge deal for me because I weighed 282 when I got pregnant with my daughter who is now almost 4! Also noticed that I am now 16 pounds less than what my drivers license says! Thinking I may need to lose my license so I can lie another 30 pounds less :) On another note...my 10 year old told me today that he can really tell how much weight I have lost. That made my heart smile. Love this difficult journey...I was stuck for 11 days at same stupid 282.... Glad to see my big breakthrough this morning even if I did hobble on and off the scale.

Congratulations on the weight loss. I too am looking forward to camping in a tent. I usto do it almost every weekend before I gained all this weight and really miss it. I am at a stand still with my loss right now, but have been reassure it will pass soon. I sure hope so. Hope your hip gets better soon.
