My longest has been this one that has been going on for almost a month (well, not exactly, I gained 7 pounds when I went to a conference, but it came right back off in less than a week). I'm *THIS* close to goal though.

Before that, my longest was 20 days at the 3 week mark.

During active weight loss, I would lose a few pounds in a week, then stall for a week or two, then gain a pound or so, then lose a few more more... stall... repeat, repeat.

I do keep my weekly stats on my profile (just click my username on the left). DO NOT compare, I started out very large and everyone is different, but you'll see weeks of loss and weeks of nothing. Just scroll ALL the way down to the end of my profile if you want to see.

You are normal. I didn't do anything to break them. Just stayed on my plan and kept kicking ass.

I just broke my longest one, almost two months,  months 7 & 8. I am close to goal and was told by many that the last few pounds takes a bit more work. I also read that lack of sleep can slow weight loss, so I have been trying to get more sleep.

I'm similar to Candy. I lose for a few weeks, then stall for a couple, often go up a couple of pounds, then start losing again.

I don't do anything different during the "no loss/gain a bit" phases as I firmly believe that it's just my body taking a time out to reshuffle itself as the times I'm "stalling" are often the times I get the most people commenting about how much I have lost lately.
