Success at Retraining Myself!

Well, on one front...for the moment anyway lol. I realized today that when I start to feel hungry...whether it's head hunger or physical hunger, my first inclination now is to make a cup of tea! How cool is that? I don't reach for chips...or crackers...or even a veggie...I make a cup of tea and go from there.  Most meals now, I have a cup of tea about a half hour before as well. The bit of milk in my tea gives me protein, and helps with satiety, making me less likely to eat too much. I'm really pleased that I've created this habit without even intending to. 

How have you retrained  yourself into some positive new habits?

That's a very positive tactic.  Good work!

I find I drink a lot of hot tea during the day as well (usually unsweetened in my own case).  I really think that warmth does help.
