Loads of us.  I'm still losing weight, always been a slow loser.  98 pounds gone since the op, 140 pounds lost from heaviest.  Give me a time machine and I'd have it done 20 years ago!!!

Had mine 3.4 years ago. All my color iritis are gone .ost 98# and have maintained for these years. I have had absolutely no problem with my VSG. I could eat and drink just fine from day 2 post op to the present.

I did convert to a full dS 4 months ago but not because of dissatisfaction with my VSG, just determined I needed the malabsorption to finish getting o goal.

I can count on one hand the times I have been hungry in these 3 years. I would starve if I didn't eat by the clock. I was 55 when I had my VSG. My only regret is not having the option to have the VSG when I was 25.

I had the VSG in 2009. My only regret is that wish I could have had it done years ago; before the countless failed attempts to lose weight took its toll on my body.  I am pleased to report that the only side effect that I have is that my stomach is smaller; so I am satisfied with less food!   Insert happy face here   :D

I am four years out and I know many people who are as far or even further out than I am now.  All is well, I am at goal weight and maintaining nicely.

4.5 years out here, doing well and maintaining fairly easily. This surgery changed my life!
