Does anyone have problem with anything that tastes sweet ?

I had the same problem. I had stocked up on samples of protein drinks, and couldn't hold any of them in me. I got some unflavored protein powder and mixed it with chicken broth, jello, sugar free, fat free pudding, yogurt, mashed cauliflower, whatever I could think of.
Hang in there, and best of luck with your new tummy. It takes a while to get used to the new sensations and eating patterns, but it does get better slowly, every day.

Yes, sweet things do not always agree with me. When I drink a protein drink it is always a sweet one but I have found that I do better with them in the afternoon or evening rather than in the morning. I try to get all of my protein in through food but sometimes I need more and will drink one. I also started making my protein with 16oz of water/crystal light (instead of 8 oz) and that helped the sweetness also.
my nut warns us about taste changes and said if it tastes sweet before surgery it will be super sweet after and that we should not but a large amount of protein shakes till we taste a sample , also GMC will let you return any you don't like so Its good to buy there at first even though it cost a little more
