Exercise PORN (picture)
OK, so this is not up to Keith's "bootie cuties" motivational picture posts, but I have had this plastered on the front of my treadmill for 2 years now, and it has seen me through 6 months loosing weight on my own (90#s), giving up on (and getting off of) it and regaining almost 50#'s of it back- coming to my senses- pursuing the idea of WLS (and getting back on it), 6 months of waiting to see if insurance would cover and loosing the 50#s plus more, WLS and, now, 6 months later(still on it 5 days a week) and two years total, and 180 pounds lighter--- THE MESSAGE (for me) STAYS THE SAME: #1. God's power is going to deliver me, but He expects ME TO PUT IN THE EFFORT, and, #2. There is NOTHING IN THAT VERSE that says ANYTHING about PUTTING IT DOWN! For me, today....tomorrow.....the next..... and the next..... Herein lies the hope of the SLEEVE- that I have a chance of KEEPING THE WEIGHT OFF if I will just keep on keeping on walking the path of a slim person. I want to get well. Then I want to Stay Well.

Everyone's motivations and paths are slightly different. I like the verse you have chosen very much. It is very appropriate and an excellent reminder of what it takes to have continued success!
While I enjoy Keith's bootie pics, this type of inspiration - the kind the takes hold deep within - is more my style. Thank you for sharing this!
I'm adding "Get up!" to my list of core beliefs!
