Girly Medical Issues

So here's the thing. I'm 44 years old and have been in reasonable health, with the exception of some issues that were resolved by VSG. Namely,  Diabetes (gone), Sleep Apnea (gone), Joint Issues (somewhat gone), and some periodic vertigo.

The vertigo has reared its ugly head again lately, and I'm seeing a balance specialist next week. The dizziness has been so bad, I have meclizine for motion sickness, and I've fallen a few times. I can't even walk a straight line most days.

Also, my left leg and foot, below the knee and primarily on the left side, are about  75% numb, which makes walking difficult/painful.

But on top of all this, I've begun having hot flashes! About three hot flashes an hour, lasting about 3 - 5 mins each. Have never had hot flashes in my life.

I don't have proper periods b/c of a uterine ablation a few years ago, so I have no real way to judge whether I'm just entering peri-menopause or something...but it seems a strange coincidence that all of this is happening at once.

Is it possible that b/c of the hormone release in the fat stores my hormones are just crazy now?

Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas? Thanks!

I suppose anything is possible - better to have a vet answer specifically, but my GYN did a blood test last year and was able to tell me that based on those findings, menopause was a way off for me, yet.

Good luck!
