9 days no prob drinking
Thank you for answering this question because I'm 4 days out and haven't had trouble drinking fluids either. I wondered if this was normal too!

I'm glad someone posted this. I'm 10 days post op and on puréed foods. I finally felt restriction today. I didn't know what it was and had to google it!

I asked a VERY similar question about 18 days ago... yes, apparently it's normal. Once I got over the "omg I can't stand cold in my sleeve" feeling, I felt like I was drinking at nearly the same pace as pre op, which scared me a lot. Clear liquids, liquids in general, appear to fly through my sleeve. But yes, there's a major restriction on full liquids particularly the yogurts, and on the mushies I've tried for sure. A significant restriction. Don't rush yourself moving to the next phase. Let your body heal and you'll be ready for the next step I'm sure of it!
