Got my date...

I got my date of 8/6.....pre-op appointment tomorrow with the surgeon......and then the "fun" begins (2 week liquid diet).....I've gone through the hoops, did lots of homework, worked hard to get to this point, now I feel like it's happening too fast LOL    I think I need my head examined.

I think everyone has 2nd thoughts. I KNOW I did. You started this process for a reason. You'll look back 6 months from now and be SO happy you did it!

I felt the same way! It feel sooo slow trying to get things moving (I waited years for my surgery to happen) and once it became reality it was like "WHOA! What???" lol I second guessed myself too but so glad I went with it. Best thing I could have done! I feel amazing and its only getting better! Congrats on getting a date! I can't wait to see your progress

Hooray!  It's surreal huh?  At least it was for me, especially once I started pre-op dieting.  And never mind the day of surgery!  After it was done, I remember seeing my husband in the hospital and saying, "I did it.  I REALLY did it!"  I was so excited.  And still am.

that's great, mine is 9/3, my friend said 6 more weeks, and kinda put it in to real time for me. Can't wait to get it over with but nervous. good luck.

Congrats!  Trust me, it's better to go fast than too slow so you'll have less time to dwell on it.  Anytime you get that fear based thought going around your head, consciously replace it with all the reasons why this is absolutely the best decision in the world for you.  Replace it with visions of you healthy, doing things you never thought possible (and looking awesome of course!).
