I have officially hit the magical world of Onederland! I weighed in at 199.6 a few days ago (198.8 today), and I am SO HAPPY to finally be out of the 200s! And let me tell you, it's like the scale knew I was almost there and held out on me. It was 2 weeks after hitting 200.0 that I finally got to 199.6, and the scale bounced around from 200.0-202.4 the entire time. I'm seven months post op, and I've lost 118 lbs so far. I'm in size Medium/Large for tops (unless it's a really structured top where the fabric has no give to it, then neither my chest or my arms with their extra skin will fit) and 14/16 jeans. I started off at 3X/4X tops and 26 jeans.

My daily goals are 600-800 calories (though I usually hit somewhere from 500-600), at LEAST 80 grams of protein, (usually 90-100 is my reality) and 20-40 carbs (it's almost always 10 or less). I am absolutely a machine when it comes to what goes in my stomach, I have no interest in playing around with carbs right now because my goal is to just get this losing phase over with while I have my tool at it's top notch shape. I generally lose about 10-12 lbs a month now.

I do still rely heavily on protein shakes because if I didn't I could never hit my protein goals. That being said I try to get at least half of my protein from real food, though I typically only manage getting about 1/3rd of it from real food. My problem is that I just can't get very much in at a time, usually about 2 oz dense protein in a half hour, 3 oz if I give myself a lot longer to eat, and then taking that long to eat screws with getting all my liquids in. So for now I just try to find a happy medium where I'm getting all the nutrients I need.

My next big milestone: Hitting Goal!
