10 Month Post-op update with Pic
Yoo hoo! Up here! Don't scroll down yet, I have something to say too! ;) If you're like me, you just want to see the pics!? Yeah, it's pretty awesome to be posting one. BUT the reason I'm doing it, isn't for you. It's for me.
My 1 year surgiversary will be September 10th. (the first picture was taken 3 days before my surgery) on board the HMS Bounty.
Anyway, what I wanted to say is that at 10 months post op. This is HARD. Not because I don't know what to eat, can't eat etc. But because I FEEL so dang NORMAL! I can eat whatever I want, when I want to just in small amts. I struggle each month with symptoms of pmdd that cause the WORST food draws and cravings that I struggle with.
I had hoped to be at my goal by 1 year, but I can tell that these last 20 lbs are really going to make me work for them. I dont'gain, I just feel like I have reached "maintaining" long before I had hoped to. The honeymoon is definitely over!
Although it's hard, I wouldnt'change it for the world. It has been the BEST decision I ever made and I am thankful for it every single day. :) I am doing things now that I never dreamed of doing. And that is worth the struggles.
Anyway, what I wanted to say wasn't that important, I just wanted to say it. ;)
Cheers!
