Cheese, your so yummy and delightful, we had a relationship for many years and I had to give you up for a short time.  I am hoping we can reconnect and start out slow in a few weeks and learn to be with each other at approved amounts.

Sorry I am just missing my yummy cheese, cheddar , provolone, Monterey jack and of course Mexican cheese which we only get once every 6 months,  I bet you all think I am crazy because I dream of eating cheese again.

I would be heartbroken if I couldn't have cheese!! I am 2wks out today and I have cheese in my egg beaters everyday. It's only an ounce, but it's soooo worth it!

You're allowed eggs at 2 weeks out? My surgeon doesn't allow that until at least 3 weeks out. I've been considering eating them anyway since I'm desperate for chewable food. You tolerate them Ok?

I plan on having that next week at my 3 week ani.  I am not allowed, everything has to be pureed ick I am sick of baby poop looking food.

Don't worry, a strong relationship can make it through anything. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. When you're ready to get back together, I'm sure your connection will be hotter than ever. Reuniting will be like your first time all over again.

Perhaps after this break, you two may be open to try new and exotic experiences. Gouda, Bleu, Havarti, and Limburger can be added to your repertoire and ignite your flames of passion.

Racelette? I've not tried that one. I've been on a world cheese tour for the past 8 months or so. It's amazing how much I can enjoy 1-2 ozs of really good cheese and feel satiated compared to 6-8 ozs of cheap cheddar or american before. I figure if I'm gonna eat 1 or 2 ozs it might as well me damn good.

In addition to the others we discussed, I've had Brie, Camembert, Feta, Manchego, Beaufort, Asiago, Parmesan and a few others I can't recall at the moment. If I go to a new store or to "cheese country" if I see a cheese I haven't heard of, I buy it.

Cheese is one of my favorites. I am happy I can still tolerate it, as my lactose intolerance got worse after surgery.
