Well, I go in to change my life today. I was told to be at the hospital at 9 am. I am so excited and scared at the same time. this board has helped me so much. I am glad to be able to read about other people's experiences and hear the advice. this is a great forum,

Best wishes on your big day! It would not be normal not to be a bit nervous, but a few uncomfortable days are worth it to get a whole new start on life :-)

consult weight 241 (had not been accurately weighed for over 10 years, my medical records just said "wheelchair") high weight was probably closer to 260.

wishing you a very safe surgery and a quick recovery. I had my surgery on Monday afternoon. Came home yesterday afternoon. At this point you're probably in recovery or just getting into your room. Just focus on what the docs and nurses tell you to do and rest when you can.
