It's funny how the scale moves...
First of all, this is not meant as a complaint about stalls, this is just me rambling about how my mind boggles...
I've fallen into a pretty steady pattern over the past month or two. 10 days ago I hit 350, then for the past 10 days I've hovered between 350 and 354. Then today I woke up and boom, I was 347. That's pretty much how it's gone. Logically I know what's going on, but it's still kind of hard to wrap my brain around all the things that have been going on in my body over this 10 day period. I didn't do anything special yesterday but all the various factors just came into alignment again. When I get frustrated I just have to remind myself that the day when I magically drop 3 pounds is coming. (And it's kind of funny when I realize that I'm frustrated about "only" losing 13 pounds in a month.)
My weight loss has been the same way. I drop a few pounds and then stall for a week to 10 days, followed by another few pound drop. etc. Once I realized that, I stopped stressing about the stalls. the weight is coming off and this is not a sprint. Its a marathon. We will all win if we stick with our plans.
best wishes,
Carol

You are really doing great Robber!! yep, those stalls are funny, aren't they? we've abused our bodies for so long with food, that now it's confused, and has to learn to live healthy.....
13 pounds is ALOT!! Just pick up a box of kitty litter if you want to see how heavy that is!! when I have to carry 2 boxes (28 lbs total) I have a very hard time, yet, I carried alot more than that around on my body.....it's mind blowing sometimes.
Keep up the great work, and laugh at those stalls, you know your day is coming!

HW 275 SW 246 CW 162.5 GW 150 ( 5'1" Over 1 1/2 inch lost in the last few yrs! LOL) lost 50 lbs on my own, stable for 3 yrs, gained back 21 during year b4 surgery.
Just think about how absolutely thrilled most people would be to lose 13 pounds in a month!
Look, you've lost a couple hundred pounds - first CON-Freakin'-GRATULATIONS! That's amazing. But the reality is simple, the more you lose the slower it will go - really it's just math at this point. If you have less to lose, you just can't lose as fast.
Keep wieghing, but average it out over a week or 10 days. It's just numbers, and the longer trends and averages will tell the real story - day to day you're going to bob up/down/sidways, bu the averages over 10 days will be more "real."
Great job!
