It seems a tad bit friendlier here. I kind of don't want to go. . .

Awww... well, it was nice for a while but yes continue to lurk and stuff.  We don't bite!!!  Plus, we might have different surgeries but our common goals are the same ... lose the excess weight, be happy, healthy & look damn good.  kiss

Best of luck to you!!!

I hope you do stay on the forum.  The two surgeries are similar enough that we can still share experiences.  So do stay and post.

Best of luck with your weight loss journey!

It's true the surgery may be different but our goals are the same..
No need to leave...

I'm glad you've finally come to a decision - that's great! You can definitely lurk here.... I lurk in the RNY boards all the time and sometimes I comment too... nobody has come after me yet... so I figured it must be ok haha!

Hi Lurker! This may be a tad off subject (a lateral move I guess), but, just read your post and am very curious as to why you chose the RNY over the VSG? I too am trying to decide between the two. First I thought for sure the RNY, but after researching the daylights out of it am dismayed about the vitamins for EVER 3x a day, dumping possibility, and no wine - yikes - my Dad owns a vineyard! So I find I'm now open to the VSG although am just beginning to research it. I'm nervous that restriction alone won't cut it - I have a failed LapBand so will be a revision patient. So, what swayed you? And I'm not trying to be a downer re your decision! Every one is different and I totally respect your choice. Thanks for any input.
