Help with protein supplements

Does anyone have a good source for protein supplements that do not contain aspartame?  I am 2 weeks out from VSG and am struggling.  Most all commercially available shakes are sweetened with aspartame.  I had purchased quite a few from a web site and  I liked all of them pre op, now post op they are too sweet and I can't force them down.  I am able to tolerate a few fruit flavored ones.  I am just looking for some variety.

Try the Unjury chicken broth.  I like you am finding things too sweet but love savory stuff. :-)

I think About Time protein powder (available on their website) is sweetened with Splenda.  I'm not 100% certain about Unjury, even though it's the one I use.  I cut the sweetness of the chocolate by throwing in a teaspoon or so of instant espresso coffee.

I recently began using Invisiwhey by Twin Labs. It's 'virtually flavorless' (unless you put it in water or another clear liquid), so you can add it to almost anything stirrable. It's not a shake, but it's a way to add protein. I've put it in yogurt, hot breakfast cereal (after it cools a bit), cottage cheese... you can put it in pudding, eggs, etc.

No flavor and no sweetener

Isopure zero card protein drinks are aspartame and gluten free.  They are a fruit drink, not a shake, but 20oz has 40g of protein.  I like the grape and orange best, and although the taste of any of them isn't that great, I find they taste better at room temperature (you get less protein-chalky  aftertaste).

For the chocolate shakes you already have, try adding a teaspoon of cocoa powder to the shakes. I tones down the sweet and makes it more chocolatey and less like a kids drink.
Other options for Stevia sweetened choices: www.jayrobb.com some grocery stores carry it as does the The vitamin shoppe
Www.teraswhey.com also carried in Vitamin shoppe and Whole Foods.
Www.mercola.com only on the web site.

Some of the Syntrax Nectar Sweets are aspertame-free. I was just looking up the Strawberry Mousse flavor for myself and saw that it's description (I was looking at VitaminShoppe.com) specifically said "Aspertame Free".

Hope that helps.
