Surgery tomorrow! Happy Haloween!
On Monday morning I called Mexico Bariatrics Center to inquire about setting up surgery for either Dr. Cabrera or Dr. Valenzuela. I read great things about both of them - especially Dr. Valenzuela on another website like this one. I was told that I could have it on Halloween with Dr. Valenzuela if I got my medical information to her that day. Otherwise I would have yo wait until later in November.
So here I am! I'm so excited. I'm in my hotel room here in Tijuana. Marriott. Just finished my bowl of broth and concentrating on drinking as much water as I possibly can before 11 pm.
My husband was concerned about the safety here, but he's already walked around the hotel grounds and questioned several people. He's discovered that people are coming here for various types of medical services from fertility to cancer treatments. He saw two doctors come in the lobby. He asked the desk clerk about the people here for medical services and the desk clerk said that this is approximately 75% of the hotel's business year round. They serve 5 clinics and hospitals.

Day 2 post op, and I'm ready to go to the hotel. I had some minor complications with excessive bleeding, but the doctors and all the staff were very attentive and corrected the problem.
I woke up this morning with very little pain.
I'm excited I'm starting my journey to regaining myself.
