VSG on 09/20/13

I am down 37 lbs. since my surgery 48 days ago. I couldn't be happier at this point. Except of course if this bronchitis would go away. Had my first NSV the other day. Glorious and yet...painful. I was sitting on a wooden chair at the computer when I my bum was really starting to hurt. It was at that moment I discovered how much "padding" I had lost back there. I never knew I had a boney butt until it started hurting! So my new life has started and I am excited. I was even looking into hiking trails to try in the Spring with my son.

HW 375 lost 28 lbs. w/diet changes. Surgery SW: 347 5'1

consult weight 241 (had not been accurately weighed for over 10 years, my medical records just said "wheelchair") high weight was probably closer to 260.

Wow. that's great weight loss! Congratulations. I've also noticed my tail bone hurting due to lack of padding. Great problem to have!

Congrats!!! Yeah the loss of padding can uncomfortable but exciting also.

This happened to me as well, we are similar in VSG dates.... and my bottom hurts sitting on this hard chair now too.. :) Congrats on your weight loss so far and the new you coming through!!! ( I can't wait to go hiking again in the Spring, I live in Michigan so it's a *****illy for hiking here right now.. :)
