Wellp, I made it through and am home in the comfy chair with my trusty protein shake  at my side (not a bit hungry, but was told to keep the protein up for healing)  I guess the surgery went so well that they decided to do it twice!  The nurses discovered internal bleeding in two places and I had to go back into surgery to address it.  I know-bummer, but on the  positive side, thank God for those nurses, I could have been home an hour away before realizing something was wrong.  It was a long time under antheasia -The actual procedure went real well- am told, but haven't looked yet, that I'm flat as a board.  Whoo-hoo.  Totally hunched over.  Not in too much pain.   Gearing myself up to stay positive and do what needs to be done to recover and heal well.  Crazy- no muscle tightening or lipo (no fat to lipo) needed.  I was told I was tiny--Me?  Ha- truely a first in my life.

Wow good for you! I can't wait to get my tummy tuck and I haven't even had surgery yet lol.  Having a flat stomach for the first time since I was 9 years old is going to be amazing!  Be really careful these first days.  Your incision will heal much nicer if you don't pull on it.  Stay hunched up!  My friend had one done and she wasn't as careful and stretched it in two places.  Still has a flat tummy but the scar is wider then it needs to be.  Congratulations Tiny! lol

Oh, a tummy tuck, how wonderful! You are definitely tiny. Sending you recovery vibes and thoughts. I hope you're recovered from the car accident as well.

Thanks, sweetie.  Doing ok .  Strangely, there was a little issue with some "goop" they put in my eyes to keep them moist- and it irritated my one eye that got bonkered in the accident.  Hubby said I looked like a beaten up boxer- all hunched over with a big closed black and blue eye.  All is better now, and feel like i'm on my way.  Patience is what is going to see me through with this.  Thanks for the energy- I feel it!

So glad you are doing well. I was told that my insurance would not cover a tummy tuck unless it was "medically necessary". So if I ever lose the rest of my weight I will probably be stuck with an apron of fat. A girdle can only smash so much extra skin, lol. Get well soon.

You survived what you thought would kill you. Now straighten your crown and go forward like the Queen you are!
