One month ago today, I had surgery.  It hasn't been the smoothest month, but things are so much better than earlier this month.

So here are the stats for the month:

28 pounds lost since morning of surgery.  (10/30)

14 inches lost since morning of surgery.

54 pounds lost since I walked in the door and started "The Journey" to make my life better.

182 pounds lost from my highest weight.

I guess I should buy a sewing measuring tape. Lol - I tried measuring my waist with a carpenters measuring tape. Didn't work out too well.

You are doing an awesome job! Wow, 182 lbs. That's 15.16 bowling balls!

At my highest weight, I had to stand on two scales (one foot on one and one foot on the other and then add the weights together). Pretty humbling moments filled with lots of tears....but it motivated me to start doing something about it. I loved it when I could successfully weigh myself on just one scale.

I also had to take measurements with a seamstress measuring tape. I still use it, but now it is a great reminder of how far I've come over the years.

And the two scales....they sit right by my Withings Wifi scale.  Never again do I want to be so heavy that I have to stand on two scales at one time to weigh myself!
