Mild tummy pain that lies

I'm 8 days post-op and today, I felt the elastic on my panties brush over what felt like a small cat scratch (i.e., a slight burning itch). I pretty much ignored it all day because I figured the cat scratch itchiness I was feeling was either a cat scratch (I get them frequently) or just an incision healing. But when I finally went to look at my tummy, there was nothing there! No cat scratch and no incision. It's like I have an invisible sore on my tummy.

Is it normal for the nerves on my skin to get confused like this?

it may be something underneat the skin.  

i get this a lot under my bra line on the left side.  major pain as if my bra is rubbing against a scar or incision -- yet there was nothing there.

i am going to assume that it may be stitches inside me that is sore at that location -- so when friction takes place it is irritating what is inside, not out.

i could be wrong.

Thanks! Fortunately, the pain is very minor and I don't even notice it when I'm doing other things. I just thought it was weird.

Aww, thanks! Unfortunately, the 20 lbs includes the pre-op diet. But I seem to be losing faster now than I did during pre-op. I think my post-op weight loss is closer to 7 lbs. 

Yes, nerves do get confused. I've always had a spot on my chest that, if scratched, echoes on my outer thigh. The nervous system is so weird!
