Very normal and go ahead and warn him that you are going to be this way for the next 3 month but for different reasons. Right now you are probably detoxing from carbs. After the surgery your hormones will be all over the place. You may be happy one minute, crying the next or wanting to kill someone! Once your body starts slowing down losing weight so quickly, it will even out and become more manageable but understand it will happen and it is all part of the wonderful journey you are getting ready to embark on.
This is very normal the same thing happened to me two days out of surgery when I got home. What helped me was talking to my husband and my two adult daughters. Who have given positive talks. Plus I did a lot of praying. It lasted on and off about 2 1/2 weeks. Stay positive occupy your mind with a good book or just talking to family and friends. You will be fine.
