Gallbladder surgery didn't go as planned
My gallbladder surgery didnt go as planned .... it was suppost to be with scopes and day surgery 1-2 hours .... ended up being over 5 hours long, cut from my breastbone to below my belly button, 40+ staples and 2 other smaller cuts with 4 staples each.... Surgeon said gallbladder was super stuck and in bad shape, found 2 holes in my small bowel where feeding tube and revision of feeding tubes were..... lots of scar tissue from other surgeries and now I have a hernia that will need to be fixed with mesh so that means another surgery. I just got released yesterday afternoon .... BUT it could always be worse .... I am lucky actually. All the sepsis infections could have killed me ..... and imagine - all I wanted to do was get healthy ...lol
