I'm just gonna do it!

Getting to goal has been really hard for me.  I've stalled at 200lbs (I did get to 195lbs when I lowered my carb intake - hint hint to myself)  It's really hard, but I've decided not to start AGAIN tomorrow and to just do the damn thing (excuse my language)  I know I can do it and I've come too far to stop now.  My original goal was 170lbs, but I decided not to stop there and set a new goal of 160lbs. 

I can do this and its challenging, especially at my job.  We have snacks available all day long (cheez it mix, cinnamon toast crunch cereal, goldfish, lucky charm cereal, popcorn, white caramel chocolate cappuccino, hot chocolate and this list goes on).  Needless to say it's hard, but I think it will be even more hard is getting back on the scale and seeing 350lbs again. 

I have to learn to tell myself no and ask myself if my putting this food in my mouth will help me get to goal.  I really would like a penpal or a mentor of some sort, but I've been unlucky at finding one.  Oh well, I guess I'll have to use this site as much as I use Facebook for motivation.

So, when I finish typing this.  I'm putting the coffee down and going to sip on a 12oz cup of water (water is such a challenge for me)

I.CAN.DO.THIS!!!!  I will no longer let food defeat me, it's taken over my life too much.  I'm sorry guys, I just need motivation.  Whomever thought that this process is easy - IT'S NOT!!!

Finding issues with my habits:

1.  I snack all day and don't get enough water in.  Solution:  sipping water will help to avoid snacking

2.  My stomach growls all day, I purchased some Pepcid last week, but only took it one day.  Solution: get back to taking it.

3.  I drink a 20oz of coffee filled with sf creamer and equal.  Solution:  limit myself to one 12oz cup ****il New Year and go back to plain teas)

4.  I snack past 7 pm Solution:  nothing bu****er after 7pm

5.  I track on MFP, but I honestly don't track those handfuls of popcorn, or those 4/5 goldfi****oss in my mouth Solution:  avoid carbs and if you can't track it don't eat it.

6.  Track EVERYDAY and EVERYTHING.  Goal:  60oz of water (this comes from not drinking any), 80-100oz of protein and 40-60g of carbs

Well, I'll avoid these mistakes and see where it gets me.

I think it is super important to identify very specific problems and develop very specific plans to deal with them- this is a great start!
