Surgery Tomorrow

VSG on 01/16/14

This process happened way quicker then I thought it would. I didn't even know VSG existed until I met with my surgeon on 09/09/2013, but I knew right away it was the surgery for me. Finished all my pre-approval appointments on 11/02/13. Insurance approval on 11/26/13. I only had to do a 1 week pre-op liver shrinking diet with today all clear liquids. I cannot believe it's surgery day...I'm so ready to start this journey!

Good luck, remember your chap stick! It moved quickly for me, I am scheduled in two weeks and wi**** was tomorrow! Cheers!

I am also scheduled to be sleeved tomorrow. My surgery is scheduled for 10:15a.m. My surgeon performs the sleeve surgery as outpatient surgery. The nurse advised me that I should be discharged by 3:30p.m., which seems a bit quick. The surgery center is a center of excellence, which puts my mind at ease a little. Good luck on your surgery!
