Muscular dystrophy issues

Hi again I'm sorry bother you all. I was wondering if anyone out there has any type of muscular dystrophy problems who had the surgery? I know it's a personal thing and some don't like to talk about it. I was diagnosed with limb girdle muscular dystrophy a few years ago. This is one of my reasons to get the surgery. How has it helped you thus far? I don't mean to get personal. I'm just wondering if it's improved your everyday functions.  Thanks again for reading my post.
