Bikini without plastics? realistic goal?

So far during my preop journey I've managed to come up with a good list of realistic, achievable goals for myself following surgery. Lately though I've been daydreaming about the idea of being able to wear a bikini again...and actually look decent in it. I'm trying not to get my hopes up though because I'm afraid to be disappointed if I never lose enough or have too much loose skin. I'm27, 5'6", 251lbs never had kids and I'm fairly well proportioned....the vain side of me REALLY REALLY wants this...am I being unrealistic? Any ladies out there with similar stats get to this point? Inspire me, girls!!!!

Our stats sound very similar!  I've never worn a bikini after the age of,  like, five. I'll be honest and say I've thought about it. We'll see what the body looks like at that point,  but i might actually not give a flying Philadelphia fart and wear one anyways.

Lol a flying Philadelphia fart! Well I suppose when you think about it, some loose wobbly thighs and a saggy tummy in a bikini can't possibly conjure up anymore gasps and jaw-drops than a 250lb+ girl in a one piece...right? And ill be happy just to not be the fatest chick on the beach anymore!

I'm 27 also. 5'10" with HW 298. My tummy is starting to look wrinkly, but I don't have any sagging skin (praise The Lord!). I'm just looking forward to wearing a one piece swimsuit without a "roll"!! In a year or so when I've been at goal for a while, I may get brave, but as of right now, it's not looking promising!!

Hehe. We're all guilty of "creepstering" around here! And thanks for the compliment! I feel great! Trying to bear down and get the last 28 pounds off to get to goal!

Yeah true. I'll be happier with more bathing suit choices. Although my last few bathing suits have been pretty cute! I like the vintagey styles with halters, polka dots,  and ruching. Ruching hides my rolls LOL. 

Oh man I hear that. I've always really wanted a betsey johnson bikini. I love her stuff. I already bought a really cute scuba style one piece in an XL in hopes ill be able to rock it this summer. Yey summer!

Vintage styles!! YESSSSS. If I can find one of those two piece suits that are uber high waisted, I will wear the heck out of it!!

Oh yah that would be perfect! Hide the belly pooch but show off the goods. ..however deflated they may be lol.
